Comedy for a Cause
Warringah District Baseball Association ("MWDBA") is having a club-wide fundraiser, Comedy for a Cause, to be held with the the following details
Description:
Comedy For A Cause presents a showcase of some of the best comedians from the Sydney and Melbourne International Comedy Festival in support of Manly Warringah District Baseball Association.
Date: Saturday October 29, 2016
Doors: 7:30pm
Showtime: 8pm
Conclusion: 10:15pm (approx)
Tickets are not allocated – so first in best dressed.
Tickets: $35 (Please note, this is an MA15+ show and may contain some course language, viewing by people under 15 is at their parents descretion).
Venue: Forestville Memorial Hall – Jamieson Square, Cnr Starkey St and Warringah Rd Forestville
BYO drinks and alcohol, food platters available on arrival.
This is a rare event, with players, parents and friends from across juniors, State League and Minor League (Summer/Winter/Masters) all getting together in the same room to have a night of laughs and help raise much needed funds for the club. The MWDBA allocates funds to assist all facets of baseball in the local area. This includes recent grants to junior players to attend Nationals, as well as funding to assist the State League teams and keep our the aquatic grounds up to standard. A recent example of the benefits from this funding includes the new lights installed at Aquatic Reserve, which has enabled State League to play mid-week games at home for the first time
In order to continue to provide the best pathways for our juniors, as well as maintain our grounds and facilities for all competitions, we need your support by attending this fundraiser.
